Microsoft Office problems about linking Excel and PowerPoint. There are three problems in Ms Office regarding linking between Excel and PowerPoint.
- The size of the source shape (in Excel) and the one in PowerPoint need to have the exact same size, otherwise the link won't work.
- When you use the "group" function with overlaped shapes, from time to time some layers may disappear.
- Transparency may become hatched when printing (e.g.: glass of the gauge).
Until BeGraphic Pro (next release that will be 100% in PowerPoint), the only secure solution is to transform you object into a
PNG picture .
This can be automatically with the specific module of the current version of BeGraphic ("To PowerPoint" in the BeGraphic ribbon).

To know how to secure an export from Excel to PowerPoint, see the dedicated post:
"How does BeGraphic secure graphics export to PowerPoint"Currently, BeGraphic limits the number of exported PNG picture to PowerPoint at 1 per slide.
The coming
Pro version will give the possibility to:
- insert as many PNG per slide as you want
- update only pictures that have been modified in Excel.
