I am in the process of evaluating several mapping (GIS) tools for use personally and for a not-for-profit organization.

In the installation of the BeGraphic Excel add-on, the system checker process stumbled on the fact that I do not have Microsoft Office 2007 installed
(I do have a couple of Office 2007 conversion/viewers installed and I received 2 errors upon installation).

Is BeGraphic operable under Microsoft Office 2003?

I have plans to upgrade to Microsoft Office 2010 early next year but I was hoping to do the evaluation prior to that upgrade.

Dear future BeGraphic user,

BeGraphic works with Excel2000 to Excel2010 64bit.
Don't be afraid about this message

Because we can't easily handle the "XLSX converter" that you installed with your Excel2003 (in order to read Excel2007/2010 specific file format), BeGraphic is alerting you about Excel2007 patches to install.

But as you don't have Excel2007 installed on your PC, don't listen to this warning.
BeGraphic installation can continue without problem.

Sorry but right now BeGraphic is done for Excel and/or PowerPoint.
You can export it as a PDF, but then it won't be interactivee anymore. In the future, we expect to do fancy things outside Microsoft Office.
But don't expect it very soon.
