We tried as user have admin rights but getting error and won’t pass prerequisites windows, I tried to install on my windows 7 PC and I have admin rights got same issue (attaching screenshot and detail of the errors), the only way I was able to install on, login as local admin on the machine, but the user who need is running Windows on Mac using VMware Fusion, as we have tried all we can think of and got no luck.

Any help/suggestion will be appriciated.
Thanks

Hi

here is the moderator. This is an interesting, but challenging problem.

If I understand well, there two sub-issues:
  • on a PC, a user with admin rights is not enough to setup BeGraphic. You need to be a local admin of the machine
  • through VMware Fusion (which version?) you tried to put Windows (which OS version?) on a Mac (which OS version?)

We never tried to put BeGraphic on a Mac because we knew that Excel wasn't really 100% working on a MAC: no VBA macro & no .Net software (most add-ins are written with this software framework http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.NET_Framework).

As BeGraphic is written in Dot.Net (only the sparklines are made using a VBA macro inside edition Lite ; by the way in edition Pro, sparklines are also coded using Dot.Net), we never tried to set up BeGraphic on Mac computers.

So please have a look in the VMware fusion documentation to see if .Net software can be used ?

As for me, I will ask one of our coders what he thinks about your issues.
